Hair Cut

Trin decided that she wanted her hair cut like her cousins Paige and Brittany (which is short right under their ears).  I really didn't want to cut it that short cuz it is so cute long, but it was starting to get really thin at the ends so we did a compromise,  I cut it but not as short as she wanted. I did it my self tell me what u think.

Lagoon That's what fun is!

My sister Julie and I took our kids to lagoon at the beginning of August it was way fun.  We didn't get to ride any of the adult rides but the kids had a blast and thats what matters right if the kids have fun.

First Day of School

Trinity Had her first day of kindergarten on Monday.  She was so cute and i think kind of nervous. I took the day off of work and took her to school my self and picked her up.  Her teachers name is Mrs. Thorpe.  She is a cute lady who is very calm and mild mannered. Hopefully it will counter balance trin and her rambunctiousness. She just is so curious and is so defiant and wants to de everything her way and she thinks she knows everything.  She doesn't quite know everything but she is so anxious to learn everything and absorbs all that she can.  We met with her teacher like a week before school and talked to her she is so cute and excited with trin's enthusiasm to learn.

the veggie dishwasher lady strikes again!

So she randomly says (during a conversation clearly not involving her) "So I think my neighbor was trying to sell me drugs.  Because he kept saying you know if you ever need anything you know for like pain or what ever I have like morphine and perks.  So a just let me know."  "I just couldn't tell by what he said it just didn't make sense to me.  Why he would ask me that."  I told her clearly he was, seeings how he said if you need anything.  It baffles (ha ha funny word) my mind that she wouldn't have a clue.  Oh well.  whatever'  s clever.

Fro

We took Trin's hair out of her braids because her head was starting to peel from being sun burnt. then we brushed threw it.  And woa the fro was created.  Trin loved it she wanted her hair to stay pouffy for the next couple of days but I didn't wanted her to go that long with out a bath cuz that would just be nasty.  She wants me to re-braid her hair.  So we will see.

Bear Lake

Trin and I went with my fam. and extended fam. on my dad's side to bear lake it was a blast.  Except for the migraines I had but thats another story in and of it's self.  We were there for 3day's.  That was plenty long.  I was so tired and ready to go home at the end.  We got a little sunburnt and lots of sand in the swim suits and in the tent and pretty much every where.  It was a nice break from work I hated to go back.

My fourth of july weekend

Yea for the fourth.  Trin and I went to orem for the 4th and spent it with some of my sisters and their families.  We had so much fun we went swimming, and decorated cookies, and watched a parade (It was so hot and humid that day).  And we did fire works (sorry no pic's of that though).  I hope all of you had fun too.

Shower fight with Trin.

Last night trin was having such a hard time.  She has a lot of emotions and confusion bottled up and coming to a head.  We have been working on finding a release for it so any suggestions would be appreciated.  So last night she was just going off and I was just getting so mad and frustrated.  It was very hard on me to see her this way when she is not usually like this.  So we were arguing about different things and one of the was about her not getting in the tub,  She would keep telling me I will tomorrow mom, and on and on.  Never did happen so last night I stripped her down and put her in the shower.  She cried and tried holding on to the door so I couldn't put her in. (She is very strong and can hold on tight by the way I struggled with it)  I finally got her and and she screamed at the top of her lungs and cried, because she doesn't like water on her face unless she does it her self.. Me poor dad hollered down thinking something I don't know what I just hollered back that every thing was fine.  I hurried and got her clean and out in like 3 mins.  To her it seemed like longer and to me.  She kept spitting water and spit at me and flipping water at me.. It was very dramatic.  Then after that I wrapped her in a towel and we sat on my bed and talked and both of us cried for a long time.  It was  a release but I wish we both could have done it different.  We hugged and said our sorries.  IT was a hard night.  I just need some peace and so does My sweet little Trintrin.  I love my baby girl to death but sometimes we just butt heads.  On a happier note today since her release she has been doing sooooo good.  Children we love them!

Farmer Fred @ the Bakery

Hello my blog fans.  So a couple of weeks ago my manager (whimpy airhead) hired a kid who actually turned out to be a 24 year old guy, to help with the morning stuff.  His name is actually Bret but before he started working the manager told us that he was an RM farm boy.  In actuallity he has been home for awhile but his family are farmers he said that it is not a big farm though, so hence the name I gave him (which caught on by most everyone) Farmer Fred.  I think it kind of bothered him that I called him that but oh well.  So anyway are Farmer Fred only lasted 1 week.  He said he couldn't handle the early hours because it didn't leave him with any time for a social life, and he worked another job in the afternoons. Still he couldn't handle it.  I would laugh and laugh at him in my head and sometimes out loud because he would say that he wasn't a farm boy but he totally sounded like one example,  We would be doing something and it wouldn't go how he wanted it to go so he would say, "Awwww come on now"  with a very distinct Farmer/cowboy twang if can just imagine for me for just a second.  He also wore the tight farmer/cowboy pants and the work boot/shoes. very funny made me laugh.  He hardly would talk to me and the quiet girl but he had no problem talking to the guys and old lady's.  I think us younger ladies were intimidating (and also cuz of my Farmer Fred comments)  So funny, I still laugh thinking about it.  Oh ya he also had this farmer/cowboy swagger when he would walk.  Knock me over with laughter. Maybe yaall know someone like the bakery Farmer Fred..  Ha Ha Haaaa Let me know.

Trinity

Yeah for Trin.  She is done with preschool.  She has learned so much this year and grown a  lot.  I am so proud of her.  Last week she had a rodeo day at her school.  It was soooo cute.  The kids made their own stick horses and did barrel races around these buckets.  They went on a wagon/buggy ride behind a horse.  And they roped bucket cows with hoolahoops. They got to see rodeo clowns and got balloon hats.  It was so cute.  Tomorrow (Wens. May 21 st) she has her preschool graduation. She is going to have a little program at a hotel confrence  room and get her year book.  What a cutie she is.

Weird question!

So at work a couple of days ago I was asked this really weird (it was just plain stupid)  question by "the veggie dishwasher lady"  (really weird lady) .  "So uh Mary can just anybody drive on main street or like only certain people or what."   Me-"Um, I am pretty sure everyone can.  Why?"  "Oh I was just wondering cuz I wasn't sure."   Hello lady.  I was like really that was a out of nowhere question.  She often randomly throws out these weird questions and weird remarks.  You have no idea if she is for real or not.  It's uh yaaa.

The Bakery

Ever wondered what it is like in a bakery?  Well I will tell you, because i just so happen to work in one.  Depending on your job, you get up before the rest of the normal human beings that you roam the earth with.  (Like me it varies it could be anywhere from 1:30 am to 3:00 am.  So that means I have to be to work between 2 and 4 depending on my schedule.) You people with children know that you can't go to sleep until the kids are asleep.  My daughter sometimes has a hard time going to sleep.  So I don't get as much sleep as I like.  Anyway, you would think it would be a nice calm job, Because all you have to do is bake pretty much the something everyday.  Ya I thought so too until I started working there.  There is so much drama at a bakery.  Well, the one I work at anyway.  If you think girls are back stabbing conniving b___, you have no idea how bad guys are.  I have worked with a lot of girls to having previously worked in the dental field.  The girls are bad and cry babies the guys are extreme and aholes.  They tell you things about the other and try to get you on there side, and then are nice if not tolerable to the other guy/person.  Then they get in yelling matches and pull whose ever there into it even if you have no clue what is going on.  They expect you to choose sides at this point and time.  They back stab each other and go behind the others back to the manager and above to the boss/owner.  There is no middle ground you can not just be a pretty picture on the wall.  You can how ever just nod your head and once in awhile say uh huh and oh the sucks.  DRAMAAAAAA.  That is just with the actual bakers.   Good gravy!!  It is not easy work it is very bodily demanding.  You constantly are lifting a good 50 pounds or more.  And running around making sure things don't burn and you have orders to fill and the phone to answer and constant heat.  Oh the heat,  It feels as if you are standing out side in the middle of summer in that stifling can't breath heat. At times you feel as if it might be alleviated some and then a gust of it comes billowing up in your face as you put something in or pull something out of the extremely large oven.  The smells are great but after eating so much of it, ughh,  after a while of bread and pastries and cookies and brownies and cinnamon rolls and bagels  and soda and all that yummy junk all you want is a freakin carrot or a piece of fruit.  Then you are covered in flour and who knows what other bakery products, all you want to do is go home and crash out.  But most of the time you can't because you have errands to run and kids to take care of.  It is tiring.  It is fun too but there is lots of drama and lots of hard work.
Stay tuned for up coming real scense of "The Bakery"  hopefully posted every week.

Sick

We people of the world are exposed to sickness and disease. We go to the Dr. for prescriptions to help remove the infection/germs from our bodies.  It goes round and round.  We will never be rid completely of these nasties. Until the end of time...   As you can probably tell I am sick today.  It sucks!
